NACEX, Logista’s express parcel and documentation delivery company, attended the 22nd edition of PharmaLog, the annual pharmaceutical logistics event held in Madrid, with the aim of publicizing its services for the healthcare sector: NACEX.pharma and Medical. This event, for professionals from the pharmaceutical/healthcare supply chain field, is organized by IIR.
NACEX Pharmaceutical Technical Director, Magda Martínez i Aixas, participated as a speaker in the INSPIRATIONAL SPEECH session – “New solutions for temperature controlled distribution” in order to present a new solution required by the sector and adapted to the latest circumstances experienced. This is NACEX's Premium service for the urgent transport of thermolabile products at 2ºC - 8ºC (vaccines, biological medicines, clinical trials, biological samples, etc.), guaranteeing physical and thermal traceability.
This service, in addition to increasing the number of solutions provided by NACEX to the health sector, also guarantees that those products that are truly sensitive to thermal compliance, and critical for the patient, are delivered with a full thermal and delivery time guarantee. NACEX ensures the sector’s quality standards (Good Distribution Practices) are complied with, and that shipments are made to anywhere the patient requires, not only to health centres (hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, etc.), but also at home.
With NACEX.pharma 2ºC - 8ºC, NACEX is committed to a passive transport service by means of qualified, reusable isothermal packaging, which has calibrated probes inside that are connected to its validated computer system. In this way, it guarantees the control and monitoring of the temperature online/ontime for all shipments, without the need to wait for download of the probe’s data on delivery.
This type of packaging is pre-prepared at origin in order to be able to put the thermolabile medicine inside for delivery to the consignee, eliminating the need to stock material and prepare the isothermal packaging at the customer’s facilities.
Before making the delivery, NACEX demonstrates temperature throughout the whole shipment process by means of the courier's mobile. This removes the need for the people receiving the goods to handle the probe, and streamlines delivery to the consignee. Additionally, NACEX takes the reusable isothermal packaging back after delivery, making it a sustainable solution that does not generate waste.
