- NACEX received the accolade at the 2021 Social Enterprise Awards, in recognition of the contribution made to charity, in participation with its Network and clients, during lockdown, under the slogan “Everything Will Be Alright”.
NACEX, Logista’s express parcel and documentation delivery company, has been honoured at the 2021 Social Enterprise Awards in the category of “Best Corporate Social Responsibility Activity in the Courier Sector” in recognition of the contribution made to charity during lockdown, under the slogan “Everything Will Be Alright”.
The Social Enterprise Awards, organized by “Gala Acción Social”, recognize best practices by Spanish companies in the Corporate Social Responsibility area, in an aim to provide incentives and publicly recognize activities that generate value for society and the company.
The awards ceremony took place on the 29th of June at the Teatro Lara theatre in Madrid. Arianne Muñoz, Marketing Director, Jorge Araujo, Director of Hubs, and Ángel Rodríguez Fernández, Regional Director for the Central Area, attended on behalf of NACEX, due to their heavy involvement in the “Everything Will Be Alright” campaign.
NACEX joined the initiative by putting logos with “Everything Will Be Alright” on its vehicles, hubs, and franchise offices in order to send a message of encouragement to the general public, while carrying out charity shipments at a key time for society. With the involvement of its Network and clients, NACEX transported PPE to where it was most needed, and collaborated with different hospitals in order to take medicine to the homes of sick people, who were not able to go to hospital due to the hazardous situation.
Charity Activity During the Pandemic
During the hardest months of the pandemic, NACEX showed its most charitable side again, by making its transport network available to different causes. Thanks to these contributions, the company made it possible for the help needed to get to many places.
When the State of Emergency was declared, NACEX continued to provide its courier services. As an essential service, which was not able to cease its activity, it prioritized the deliveries to hospitals, pharmacies and people’s homes that were required. In addition, to guarantee the safety and security of its collaborators and clients while continuing with its activity, NACEX implemented different measures, such as “Zero Contact”, which has reduced the need to sign when receiving a shipment in order to ensure that a safe distance is maintained. “Zero Contact” permits safe and reliable delivery via the reading of a QR code that the consignee receives by email/sms.
