NACEX, Logista’s express parcel and documentation delivery company, has now started activity at its new hub in Seville, located in the Carmona Logistics Park (Parque Logístico de Carmona).

One of the competitive advantages of this new centre is its position, with access from the A-4 motorway and remarkably close to the SE-40, barely 15 kilometres from Seville and a few minutes from the airport.

With this new centre, the company reinforces its strategy of providing the best service and quality, strengthening its efficiency in the region.

The new centre has 1,750 m2 of warehousing, 200 m2 of offices, and enables the simultaneous loading and unloading of 30 vans and 3 lorries.  It is equipped with a sorter that has capacity for processing 4,000 to 5,000 shipments/hour, including a barcode reading system that allows it to have high-definition photographs of the shipments.

The new hub in Carmona is characterized by cutting-edge technology and the highest standards of security.  Just as in the network’s other centres, the company guarantees maximum security for the facility and goods by means of state-of-the-art technologies that facilitate triple traceability during parcel classification; physical, by means of barcode reading; by weight, carrying out the checking and verification of weights and measures using dynamic scales; and visual, via the recording of the parcel’s classification process using closed-circuit video surveillance cameras.

In accordance with the company’s commitment to the healthcare sector, the facility has a temperature-controlled storage area in order to handle the NACEX.pharma service and the most avant-garde means of ensuring the temperature traceability of shipments.  NACEX.pharma guarantees urgent deliveries, with temperature control/monitoring, to hospitals, clinics, laboratories, pharmacies and para-pharmacies with personalized tracking and tracing and delivery confirmation.

In addition, as part of the NACEX commitment to sustainability, this new installation guarantees greater energy efficiency for the centre.

This new centre is an addition to the latest inaugurations in other regions of Andalusia, in Jaén and Córdoba. In total, NACEX has another six hubs in Andalusia (Granada, Jaén, Málaga, Almería, Cádiz and Córdoba), out of a total of 32 in Spain and Portugal.
